Nightline offers an online instant messenger service, from 8pm to 8am every night of term. This can sometimes feel easier than picking up the phone, giving you an extra bit of time and space to prepare what you want to say. Just click on the link below to talk to one of our trained volunteers. If you’re ready to leave the chat, please press the exit button to let our volunteers know that you’re leaving. The system is free and still completely anonymous: you don’t need to enter any details at all and we have no way of identifying you.
Click below between 8pm and 8am any night of semester to chat online with a trained volunteer.
Unfortunately our phone lines are closed from the 1st to the 19th June 2022. However, you can still contact us by instant messenger from 8-12, and our volunteers will be there to listen. You can reach the Samaritans on 116 123 or [email protected] if you would like to talk to someone outside of these hours.
If you’ve used the service and would like to leave some feedback, please click here. We’re always looking for ways to improve, so we’d love to hear from you!
