The smell of fresh ringbinders is in the air and I can hear whisperings of tutorial sign-ups on the breeze. It can mean only one thing—September is here, and the new academic year is about to begin.
Welcome back to the returning students coming into their next year of study at Edinburgh—be you Uni of, QMU, Napier, Heriot Watt or Edinburgh College-ers. And the warmest of welcomes to the freshers, of course!
Be you a fresh-faced first year or a seasoned third year, you might be feeling all sorts of things right about now. Excitement. Apprehension. Nerves. Stress. Wherever your feelings might fall, that’s okay. The important thing is you remember that you’re not alone.
